MATERIALS NEEDED:

* Card stock.
* Tape or glue.
* 1.5 cup container with round lid.
* 3" thin ribbon.
* Optional: Laminator and laminating sheets. Curling ribbons.
* Teacher Rice template.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Open a landscape sheet in your print program. Import the Teacher Rice Mix template. Import your chosen background and graphics. Add titles or headlines to suit your needs. Import the Gift Tag Template. Add the directions * for cooking the rice dish. Print on highest setting.

Cut the printed lid and tag out.

Laminate.

Glue or tape the lid on top of the container lid.

Glue or tape the ribbon to the back of the gift tag and attach to the container.

Embellish with a ribbon tied around the container.

* Teacher Rice Mix
Combine rice mix with 2 cups cold water and 1 T. butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover. reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

Rice Mix recipe:

1 c uncooked rice
2 T. beef boullion granules
1 t. dried onion flakes
1/2 t. rosemary
1/2 t. marjoram
1/2 t. thyme
Mix together and place in a 1.5 c sealed container.
