Agneta Ekholm, Sweden, came up with a fun 'mystery quilt' project for Christmas 2004. It
worked like this:
She designed the quilt and then, instead of sending a picture of a completed quilt, she sent clues to all
the people who participated. The pattern for each patch was numbered and people were told which
colors to use, but they didn't know what the finished quilt would look like. Each participant came
up with her own, equally beautiful, version. Some are shown below and you can
